You are not broken or defective—it's because you're human, and your body is incredibly intelligent and designed to protect you.
Unlike what we’ve been told to believe from societal norms, friends and family, diet culture, and maybe even other professionals, you are the one and only expert in your body.
What do I mean? Well, you have learned to survive in your body since you took your first breath. You hold the most intimate and precious knowledge of yourself there is to know.
In that time, there is an immense amount of information you have learned about your brain and body—it just hasn't been held with enough space to be validated.
This is what my services, programs, and approach to coaching are here to do: hold space for your experience and trust you as the expert, with myself serving as your space-holder and support system to guide you in tapping into that expertise.

Through collaborative relationships with my students, I develop programs that create subtle lifestyle shifts and interrupt seemingly never-ending searches for new solutions.
Brain based coaching is as much about movement, mobilizing joints, recovery (e.g. stress and sleep) as it is about our emotional relationships to our bodies, including potential barriers to self-acceptance.
Neuroscience will always leave room for the “out of box”, quirky, “I’m not sure if this makes sense”, rare, or “it can’t be just me?” experiences.

I’ve recently relocated back home to Honolulu, Hawaii after residing in California for the past 17 years so my lovable and energetic 9 year old Labrador, Nala could retire by the ocean with sand between her toes.
And if you ask her, moving to Hawaii with the beach as the backyard has been, the best decision ever.
