Thanks for stopping by. Today, I wanted to share a one of my high pay off mobility drills that helps mobilize the spine and improve body connection.
The lower spine “lumbar” is made up of 5 vertebrae, each of which should be capable of moving, pain free. However, many of us have become accustomed to sitting versus moving, thus creating more “stickiness” between each vertebrae. This can often result in more pain.
Here’s a quick tutorial on lumbar circles. Within this drill, we’re targeting the lower spine and intentionally trying to mobilize each vertebrae.
Keep the following in mind:
Never move into pain
Take your time
Complete just 1-5 reps at a time
Assess and reassess yourself
